Some tightening may be noticeable once the skin has healed; however, the most significant improvements develop gradually over the following 8–12 weeks as collagen remodelling continues.

Fibroblast involves a longer healing period than many other skin treatments.

Immediately following treatment, small carbon crusts will form on the treated area as part of the normal healing process. These typically shed naturally within 5–10 days. Mild swelling, redness and sensitivity are also expected during the initial healing phase.
